Recently, Goa, India, proposed revising its state solar policy to include a 50% subsidy for small consumers of photovoltaic power plants up to 100 kilowatts to replace interest-free loan schemes

The Goa Energy Development Agency (GEDA) posted an update on its website and hoped the public would respond
positively.
The government shall provide a subsidy of 50% of the capital cost or benchmark cost (30% central ownership and 20% of the national shares) provided by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy or the cost of GEDA reached through the tender process, whichever is lower
.
It is understood that after the solar system starts to supply power to the grid from 6 months, the state subsidy will gradually issue corresponding subsidies, including the battery cost
of the off-grid system.
