Guangdong Province to develop advanced materials strategic pillar industry cluster action plan (2021-2025) issued.

Recently, the Guangdong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, the Guangdong Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Department, the Guangdong Provincial Ecological Environment Department, the Guangdong Provincial Commerce Department and the Guangdong Provincial Market Supervision And Administration jointly issued the Action Plan for the Development of Strategic Pillar Industries Clusters in Guangdong Province (2021-2025) (hereinafter referred to as the Action Plan).
The Action Plan proposes that by 2025, Guangdong Province will have formed an advanced materials industry cluster with annual main business income of more than 2.8 trillion yuan and industrial value added of 647.5 billion yuan, and will enter the ranks of world-class advanced materials industry clusters.

Give full play to the advantages of Zhuhai Gaobar Port Green New Materials Industrial Park and port transportation, with Wanhua Chemical Special Polyurethane, Germany's Opaldi water-based coatings and other key projects as the basis for vigorously developing the polymer materials industry, to create an annual main business income of more than 200 billion yuan of chemical materials industry cluster.
Zhongshan City will build advanced materials industry clusters, relying on leading backbone enterprises, focusing on the development of photovoltaic, new energy, energy-saving motors with special metal materials, home appliances with plastics, chemical coatings, advanced film materials and other chemical materials, to create an annual main business income of more than 100 billion yuan of advanced materials industry clusters.
