    Primary liver cancer (PLC) is a malignant tumor with extremely high morbidity and mortality in China


    Recently, researcher Li Peng and Li Yinxiong of Guangzhou Institutes of Biomedicine and Health, Chinese Academy of Sciences published their research results on EMBO Reports entitled Transforming primary human hepatocytes to hepatocellular carcinoma with genetically defined factors , using primary human hepatocytes to induce primary hepatocytes in vivo.


    In order to screen the combination of oncogene/mutation tumor suppressor gene that can directly induce primary hepatocytes to become hepatoma cells, the experimenters used multi-gene mixed transfection to transfect primary cells, and used liver humanized mouse model to conduct experiments.


    Combined with transcriptome analysis, the researchers found that MUC1 and FAP were highly expressed in liver cancer, but not in normal liver
