Health Care Commission: 12 new confirmed cases, including 9 local cases

From 0:24 a.m. on June 23, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 12 new confirmed cases, including 3 cases imported from abroad (Shanghai 2 cases, Shaanxi 1 case), 9 local cases (Beijing 7 cases, Hebei 2 cases);
3 new cases were cured and discharged from hospital on the same day, 584 close contacts were released from medical observation, and the number of serious cases decreased by 1 compared with the previous day.
87 confirmed cases (1 case of severe illness) have been imported from abroad, with no existing suspected cases. A total of 1888 confirmed cases, a total of 1801 cases of cured discharge, no deaths.
As of 2400 hours on June 23, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps had reported 368 confirmed cases (of which 12 were serious cases), a total of 78,428 cases had been cured and discharged from hospital, 4634 cumulative deaths had been reported, 83,430 confirmed cases had been reported and 18 suspected cases had been reported. A total of 759,279 close contacts were traced and 7,557 close contacts were still under medical observation.
31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 3 new cases of asymptomatic infection (1 case imported from abroad);
received a total of 1668 confirmed cases from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Of these,
1177 cases (1083 discharges, 6 deaths), 45 cases in the Macao Special Administrative Region (45 cases of discharge), and 446 cases (435 discharges, 7 deaths) in
regions.
