Health Care Commission: 14 new confirmed cases and 9 local cases

July 21, 0-24 hours, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 14 new confirmed cases, of which 5 cases were imported from abroad (Shanghai 2 cases, Guangdong 2 cases, Yunnan 1 case), 9 local cases (all in Xinjiang);
23 new cases were cured and discharged from hospital on the same day, 434 close contacts were removed from medical observation, and 1 case of severe illness was reduced from the previous day.
80 confirmed cases (of which 2 are severe cases) and 1 suspected case has been imported from outside China. A total of 2020 confirmed cases, a total of 1940 cases cured out of hospital, no deaths.
As of 2400 hours on July 21, according to 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, there were 233 confirmed cases (of which 6 were serious cases), 78840 cases were cured and discharged from hospital, 4634 cumulative deaths were reported, 83,707 confirmed cases were reported, and 1 suspected case was reported. A total of 772,804 close contacts were traced, and 6,988 close contacts were still under medical observation.
31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 22 new cases of asymptomatic infection (8 cases imported from abroad);
received a total of 2519 confirmed cases from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Among them,
2018 cases in the Special Administrative Region (1324 cases of discharge, 14 deaths), 46 cases of the Macao Special Administrative Region (46 cases of discharge), 455 cases of
regions (440 cases of discharge, 7 cases of death).
