January 16th, from 00:24,000, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 109 new confirmed cases, of which 13 cases were imported from abroad (4 in Shanghai, 2 in Fujian, 2 in Guangdong, Sichuan). 2 cases, Tianjin 1 case, Shandong 1 case, Hunan 1 case), 96 local cases (Hebei 72 cases, Heilongjiang 12 cases, Jilin 10 cases, Beijing 2 cases);
17 new cases were cured and discharged from hospital on the same day, 1,295 close contacts were released from medical observation, and 4 more serious cases were reported than the previous day.
278 confirmed cases (including 2 cases of severe illness) and 2 suspected cases from overseas. A total of 4502 confirmed cases, a total of 4224 cases of cured discharge, no deaths.
As of 2400 hours on January 16, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported that there were 1205 confirmed cases (of which 42 were serious cases), a total of 82,387 cases were cured and discharged from hospital, 4635 cumulative deaths were reported, 88,227 confirmed cases were reported, and 2 suspected cases were reported. A total of 938,464 close contacts were traced, and 34,150 close contacts were still under medical observation.

Special Administrative Region), 46 cases (46 cases discharged from hospital) and 850 cases (751 discharges and 7 deaths) in the
regions.
