Health Care Commission: 16 new confirmed cases, 13 cases in Xinjiang

July 18, 0-24 hours, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 16 new confirmed cases, of which 3 cases were imported from abroad (2 cases in Guangdong, 1 case in Shandong), 13 cases in China (all in Xinjiang);
17 new cases were cured and discharged from hospital on the same day, 212 close contacts were released from medical observation, and the number of serious cases was the same as the previous day.
84 confirmed cases (of which 3 are serious cases) and 3 suspected cases have been imported from abroad. A total of 2007 confirmed cases, a total of 1923 cases of cured discharge, no deaths.
As of 2400 hours on July 18, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported that there were 251 confirmed cases (of which 3 were serious cases), a total of 78775 cases were cured and discharged from hospital, 4634 cumulative deaths were reported, 83,660 confirmed cases were reported, and 4 suspected cases were reported. A total of 771,589 close contacts were traced, and 6,925 close contacts were still under medical observation.
31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 42 new cases of asymptomatic infection (12 cases imported from abroad);
received a total of 2277 confirmed cases in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Of these,
1777 cases (1274 discharges, 12 deaths), 46 cases in the Macao Special Administrative Region (46 discharges), and 454 cases in
regions (440 discharges and 7 deaths).
