From 00:24 on August 20th, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 22 new confirmed cases, all of which were imported from abroad (11 cases in Shanghai, 6 cases in Tianjin, 3 cases in Shandong, 1 case in Jiangsu and 1 case in Sichuan);
47 new cases were cured and discharged from hospital on the same day, 2,264 close contacts were released from medical observation, and 4 fewer serious cases were reported than the previous day.
204 confirmed cases (no serious cases) have been imported from abroad, with no existing suspected cases. A total of 2368 confirmed cases, a total of 2164 cases cured out of hospital, no deaths.
As of 2400 hours on August 20, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported that there were 491 confirmed cases (of which 20 were serious cases), a total of 79,792 cases were cured and discharged from hospital, 4634 cumulative deaths were reported, and 84,917 confirmed cases were reported, with no existing suspected cases.
