From 00:24 on January 6th, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 63 new confirmed cases, of which 11 were imported from abroad (5 in Shanghai, 2 in Hebei, 2 in Guangdong, 2 in Shaanxi), 52 in China (51 in Hebei and 1 in Liaoning);
21 new cases were cured and discharged on the same day, 699 close contacts were released from medical observation, and 1 case of severe illness was reduced from the previous day.
280 confirmed cases (of which 4 were severe cases) imported from outside China, with no existing suspected cases. A total of 4359 confirmed cases, a total of 4079 cases were cured and discharged from the hospital, no deaths.
