Health Care Commission: 8 new confirmed cases are imported from abroad

July 6th, 0-24 hours, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 8 new confirmed cases, all of which were imported from abroad (2 cases in Liaoning, 2 cases in Shanghai, 2 cases in Sichuan, 1 case in Inner Mongolia, 1 case in Guangdong);
10 new cases were cured and discharged from hospital on the same day, 254 close contacts were released from medical observation, and the number of serious cases increased by 1 from the previous day.
72 confirmed cases (no serious cases) and 3 suspected cases have been imported from abroad. A total of 1942 confirmed cases, a total of 1870 cases cured out of hospital, no deaths.
As of 2400 hours on July 6, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported that there were 403 confirmed cases (of which 7 were serious cases), a total of 78528 cases were cured and discharged from hospital, 4634 cumulative deaths were reported, 83,565 confirmed cases were reported, and 7 suspected cases were reported. A total of 764,486 close contacts were traced, and 3,940 close contacts were still under medical observation.
31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 15 new cases of asymptomatic infection (14 cases imported from abroad);
received a total of 1780 confirmed cases from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Of these,
1285 cases (1157 discharges, 7 deaths), 46 cases (45 discharges) in the Macao Special Administrative Region, and 449 cases in
regions (438 discharges and 7 deaths).
