Health Care Commission: 9 new confirmed cases 14 cases are imported from abroad

From 00:24 on February 9th, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 14 new confirmed cases, all of which were imported from abroad (6 cases in Shanghai, 3 cases in Zhejiang, 1 case in Tianjin, 1 case in Jiangsu, 1 case in Fujian, 1 case in Sichuan and 1 case in Shaanxi);
102 new cases were cured and discharged from hospital on the same day, 2,960 close contacts were removed from medical observation, and 1 case of severe illness was reduced from the previous day.
267 confirmed cases (of which 4 are severe cases) and 2 suspected cases have been imported from outside China. A total of 4832 confirmed cases, a total of 4565 cases of cured discharge, no deaths.
As of 2400 hours on February 9, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported that there were 969 confirmed cases (of which 17 were serious cases), 84,129 cases had been cured and discharged from hospital, 4636 cumulative deaths had been reported, 89,734 confirmed cases had been reported and 2 suspected cases had been reported. A total of 972,332 close contacts were traced and 18,742 close contacts were still under medical observation.
