After bifurcated transition state (post-transition state bifurcation, PTSB ) refers to a single transition state to generate a plurality of product phenomenon
    .
In the past ten years, PTSB- mediated biosynthesis and enzyme-catalyzed reactions have gradually attracted the attention of scientific researchers

    .

This work combines theoretical calculations and experimental verification to systematically study the influence of the medium environment on the production of [6+4] and [4+2] products after the transition state catalyzed by the NgnD enzyme .
From the perspective of polarity and molecular volume, the characteristics of the post-transition state bifurcation reaction are further explored.
This study will stimulate people to explore new strategies for using the post-transition state bifurcation reaction to control selectivity .

The " Yellow River Scholar " Distinguished Professor Wang Xin of our college is the first author of this article.
The research results were completed by Henan University, Nanjing University, and Vanderbilt University in the United States

The Henan Provincial Key Laboratory of Brain Targeting Bio-Nano Drugs relies on the School of Life Sciences and the School of Pharmacy of Henan University
    .
The laboratory was prepared to establish the Henan University - Macquarie University Biomedical Joint Innovation Center in September 2015 , and was subsequently approved successively by the Henan Nano Biomedical International Joint Laboratory ( 2016 ) and Henan Bio-Nanomedicine Discipline Innovation and Intelligence Introduction Base ( 2018 ), and was approved by the Henan Provincial Department of Science and Technology to build the Henan Provincial Key Laboratory in November 2020 .

In addition, the joint center has also led the establishment of the "AIE Bio-Nanotechnology Center " of Henan University to strengthen the intersection of Henan University's biology and chemistry, medicine, materials science, and pharmacy, and cultivate new growth points in related disciplines .
