    A research team led by scientists from Stanford University in the United States incorporated 4,4'-methylene bis(phenylurea) units into the propylene glycol polymer backbone


    In the test, the polymer can be stretched to 5 times its original length and can store up to 17.


    The researchers also attached pre-stretched polymers to the upper and lower arms of the wooden mannequin to use as artificial muscles
