    The Center for Food Safety (CFS) of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department announced today (March 3) that in response to a report from the World Animal Health Organization that the outbreak of highly pathogenic H5N1 avian influenza in Sagaing Region, Myanmar, the Center immediately banned poultry and poultry in the area.
    Poultry products (including poultry eggs) are imported to protect Hong Kong’s public health

    A spokesperson for the center said that Hong Kong did not import poultry meat or eggs from Myanmar last year
