Three, matters needing attention

2.
Figure 23-41 Blasting and flushing accidents
As shown in Figure 23-41(a), a rigid closed system is formed due to pinhole rust and clogging, the condenser tube has been washed off, and the reaction liquid is sprayed to the four walls
Fourth, the operation of the gas production reaction to avoid water and oxygen
For reactions with gas generation, such as NaBH reacting with Lewis acids (AlCl 3 , BF 3, etc.
Figure 23-42 CaCl 2 drying tube or double-row tube nitrogen flow
Note: CaCl 2 in the drying tube should be changed for each reaction.
For the large gas production reaction, it cannot be sealed with a balloon, or even without a CaCl 2 drying tube or a double-row nitrogen flow, and it can be directly exhausted, as shown in Figure 23-43
Moisture in the air cannot affect the reaction, because the reaction flask is always under positive pressure, and it is difficult for the outside air to directly vent into it
Pay attention to the gas outlet to be far away from the stirring motor during direct discharge.
5.
Argon balloons are also used
Under normal circumstances, nitrogen is sufficient.
