    This study provides the most comprehensive whole-genome sequencing data of Schistosoma japonicum , analyzes the adaptive evolution of Schistosoma japonicum, and identifies a series of candidate genes related to the establishment, maintenance, infection and growth and development of Schistosoma japonicum in intermediate and final hosts.
