In recent years, epidermal electronic systems have shown important application value and broad prospects in the fields of personalized medicine, intelligent diagnosis, and health monitoring due to their close conformal contact with the skin and living organisms

Recently, Hu Youfan's research group from the School of Electronics, Peking University and the Key Laboratory of Nanodevice Physics and Chemistry of the Ministry of Education used carbon nanotube network films as semiconductor materials to construct an integrated epidermal electronic system including flexible sensors, sensing interface circuits and storage arrays

    a) Illustration of epidermal electronic system; b) Integrated epidermal electronic system located on the surface of human skin; c) Spatial architecture layout of epidermal electronic system; d) Sensor; e) Interface circuit; f) Spatial structure of memory array; g) Epidermal The flow of information in electronic systems

The research group made full use of the advantages of carbon nanotube materials that can achieve wafer-level mass processing, constructed a variety of basic electronic components on ultra-thin flexible substrates, and completed device integration

With the support of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the National Key R&D Program, the above work is entitled "An epidermal electronic system for physiological information acquisition, processing, and storage with an integrated flash memory array" (an epidermal electronic system for physiological information acquisition, processing, and storage with an integrated flash memory array).
