Chinese heavyweight solar string inverter manufacturer Huawei announced the expansion of its European supply center, building a new inverter production plant in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, to serve forty countries in the European, Central Asian and Russian markets, and believes that this expansion will further enhance the business value
in these regions.
Cut from Huawei's factory in Eindhoven, the Netherlands
The plant, which started production in May 2015, has now doubled its capacity to 100,000 units per month, including 7,000 inverters
.
Interestingly, the manufacturing capabilities of the new plant allow Huawei to modify and customize the inverter software to increase flexibility
.
Chen Guoguang, General Manager of Huawei European Solar, said: "Today marks an important milestone in the development of Huawei Solar's European business, strengthening our supply chain operations and, most notably, strengthening the integration
of new inverter production facilities.
Take an end-to-end approach to reviewing
operations from storage to shipping.
This greatly reduces production preparation time and hones our ability to
handle urgent orders in a short time.
”
Cooperation with DHL
