    Recently, the team of Associate Professor Zhang Jian and Professor Wang Deli of Huazhong University of Science and Technology have developed an electrocatalyst with resistance to chlorine corrosion, which realizes the electrolysis of low-cost alkaline brine for hydrogen production


    The coexistence of metal and phosphorus sites helps to tune the interfacial electronic structure, thereby enhancing the electrocatalytic activity of the cathodic hydrogen evolution reaction in alkaline electrolytes and alkaline brine electrolytes


    The main bottleneck of seawater electrolysis is that the abundant chloride ions in seawater will deposit on the cathode surface, inhibiting the production of hydrogen
