From IFFO February 10 news, in the report submitted by IFFO Marine Ingredients to its client members, the total fishmeal production of the countries analyzed in 2021 is estimated at 2.
443 million tons (MT), compared with the total reported production in 2020.

Cumulative fishmeal production in Peru, Chile and India increased in 2021, while the Nordic countries, the United States and African countries reported a combined decrease of more than 160,000 tonnes year-on-year

In the case of fish oil , total production in the countries analysed in these reports fell by almost 6%

Total production in 2021 is currently estimated at 546,000 tonnes, compared to 581,000 tonnes in 2020

Chile, Iceland and India are the countries that will increase production in 2021, while all other regions, including major producer Peru, are reporting production contractions
