According to customs statistics, China imported 39,600 tons of H&G pollock raw materials from Russia in April 2021 , the import value was about 47.
6 million US dollars, and the unit price was $1,203/ton
    .

The import volume of pollock in April nearly doubled the total import volume in the first quarter, but it remained sluggish compared with the same period last year, with a decrease of 71%
    .
From January to April, the total import volume of pollock was about 64,000 tons, a decrease of 83% from the same period of the previous year
    .

Qingdao and Dalian are the two largest pollock processing locations in the world, and the annual output of various end products accounts for 40% of the world's total
    .
Last year, China imported 573,000 tons of Russian pollock and 23,300 tons of American pollock raw materials, and exported 192,000 tons of fish fillets and frozen products
    .

So far, Qingdao and Dalian ports are still implementing the "bulk-to-collection" policy, and Russian bulk carriers are not allowed to dock, and large quantities of pollock raw materials are shipped to Busan, South Korea and Vladivostok, Russia.
There is no sign of improvement for the time delay problem
    .

Statistics show that the export of China's pollock terminal products has been relatively stable since the beginning of this year.
The export of 51,600 tons of fish fillets and frozen chunks in the first four months was 3% lower than the same period last year, which means that many processing companies rely heavily on inventory to meet export orders
    .
Germany is the largest export market, with an export volume of 20,960 tons, followed by the United States (1,990 tons), France (1,242 tons), South Korea (842 tons) and the United Kingdom (707 tons)
