According to the latest statistics of the National Bureau of Statistics, the cumulative production of paints in January-December 2014 (by size of 1344 enterprises) 16.4819 million tons, an increase of 7.9% Year-on-year. Among them, the output of North China reached 1.3927 million tons, up 12.7% YoY; Production in Northeast China reached 783,400 tons, up 2.3% YoY; East China's output reached 6.7611 million tons, up 6.8% YoY; Production in central and southern China reached 609.32 million tons, up 11.0% YoY; Production in southwest China reached 1.2032 million tons, down 4.1% YoY; Production in the northwest region reached 248,300 tons, up 23.3% year-on-year. Guangdong, Shanghai and Jiangsu ranked in the top three in cumulative production from January to December, with 3.3399 million t, 1.8709 million t and 1.8215 million t, respectively, up 6.9%, 10.5% and 5.4% year-on-year, respectively.

From January to December, the top three provinces and cities in terms of main business revenue were Jiangsu, Guangdong and Shanghai, with 96.590 billion yuan, 74.640 billion yuan and 35.727 billion yuan, respectively, up 14.0%, 14.1% and 5.5% year-on-year.
