According to the latest report of Bloomberg New Energy Finance, by the end of this year, 20 coal-fired power plants in the United States will be closed (some are already closed), and a total of 16 GW
of coal power capacity will be eliminated.

The report also revealed that half of the electricity shortfall caused by the reduction in coal power is supplied by natural gas

In the future, fierce competition from cheap natural gas and zero-marginal-cost renewables will continue to drive coal plant closures, especially in
