    On January 15, according to the China Nuclear Power Research and Design Institute, a subsidiary of CNNC, the research and development, design and manufacture of hull platforms in the United Nations have completed the preliminary design and key technology research of offshore floating nuclear power plants in China's waters, and plan to start the construction of demonstration reactors at the end of 2016, and are expected to be completed and operated

    Song Danrong revealed that the Nuclear Power Institute has signed a cooperation agreement with the world's largest British Lloyd's Register and IAEA, and is carrying out safety review and regulation and standard formulation of floating nuclear power plants
