    In August, Norwegian salmon exports performed relatively well, with total exports increasing 21% year-on-year to 113,900 tons, and export value up 33% year-on-year to NOK 7 billion, with markets such as Poland, Denmark and France ranking the top three

    Aandahl commented: “We have never experienced such a strong August in terms of export volume or export value.
    Household consumption in multiple markets is increasing, creating more demand for the salmon market in August

      In August, Norway exported 2,500 tons of chilled cod and 3,500 tons of frozen cod, with an export value of 94 million Norwegian kroner and 142 million Norwegian kroner respectively
    .
    The export volume of herring was 11,300 tons, and the export value was US$143 million
    .
    The export volume of mackerel (mackerel) was 32,800 tons, a year-on-year increase of 506%, and the export value was NOK 463 million, a year-on-year increase of 390%
    .
     
      In addition, the export of king crab increased by 1% year-on-year to 349 tons, and the export value increased by 43% year-on-year to 155 million Norwegian kroner
    .
    The export volume of Norwegian Arctic shrimp fell by 5% year-on-year to 939 tons, and the export value fell by 13% year-on-year to NOK 68 million
