Sichuan Dragon Mang, a leading titanium dioxide company, has raised its price again by 300 yuan/ton from August 1.
This is the fifth overall increase in the year.
According to industry analysts, the increase in foreign trade sales may be the main reason for the price increase.

The price of Sichuan Lomon titanium dioxide has increased again: From August 1st, the mainstream titanium dioxide model R-996 will be increased by 300 yuan/ton from the original price, LR-972 will be raised by 400 yuan/ton, and 108 by 300 yuan/ton.
In addition, starting from September 1, the export price of Sichuan Lomon titanium dioxide will be raised by US$50/ton.

This is also the first time that the price of titanium dioxide has increased by 300 yuan/ton twice in April, and 300 yuan/ton on June 4 and July 3, after a lapse of one month.

Driven by foreign sales, the domestic price of titanium dioxide has risen all the way.
According to industry analysis, the export volume of domestic titanium dioxide increased by more than 50% in June, which is expected to make it clear that there is room for continued price increases in the second half of the year.
The latest data provided by the General Administration of Customs shows that from January to June this year, China's total export volume of titanium dioxide increased again by 56.
    72% year-on-year, with an increase of 53.
88% in June and an increase of about 60% from January to May.

Industry analysts believe that the domestic titanium dioxide overcapacity is serious and the market competition is extremely fierce, but the relationship between supply and demand has not been significantly improved.

It is understood that in 2013, the domestic listed companies Zhongnuo Titanium Dioxide, Baililian, Gimpo Titanium (000545.
SZ) and Anada produced 128,000 tons, 127,000 tons, 74,000 tons and 65,000 tons of titanium dioxide respectively.
