Vietnam's exports of shrimp to the EU fell 35%
year-on-year in October, according to the Vietnam Aquatic Export and Processing Association (VASEP), Vietnam's Agriculture Daily reported on November 29.
Exports to Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and France, the EU's four main markets, all fell
    sharply.

Due to economic turmoil and inflation, especially energy prices soaring in the past few months, which have had a greater negative impact on import demand in the EU market, shrimp exports to the EU fell sharply, with Vietnamese shrimp exports only US$360 million in October, down 16%
    year-on-year.
