According to Kyrgyzstan’s Kabar News Agency’s news network on June 29, Kyrgyzstan’s Taxation Bureau announced that according to the Kyrgyz government’s order on June 24, 2021, from July 1, 2021, the import value-added tax on some food commodities will be adjusted to Zero .
Kyrgyzstan Taxation Bureau stated that the move is to stabilize food prices and support Kyrgyz domestic enterprises .

The commodities involved in the adjustment of the import value-added tax rate include:

From July 1 to August 31, 2021, sugar (Union Commodity Customs Code 1701) and vegetable oil (1512) imported into Kyrgyzstan from the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union;

From July 1 to December 31, 2021, imported agricultural and livestock products include horses (customs code 0101), cattle (0102), pigs (0103), sheep (0104), and poultry (0105)
.

The order will take effect on July 1, 2021
.

Food import

The commodities involved in the adjustment of the import value-added tax rate include:
