The Netherlands and German grid operator TenneT have announced that 28 billion euros will be spent on the low-carbon energy transition
in Germany and the Netherlands over the next decade.

Tent CEO Mel Kroon said the company is preparing for its "future based on a fully sustainable energy landscape", which requires a more flexible system with sufficient hydrogen storage energy and battery storage capacity, and "consumer" involvement is also important

"The balancing role of traditional power plants will be partially replaced
by consumers of electric vehicles, solar panels or home batteries," Kroon said.
