According to news from Axioms Singapore on December 1, as domestic plastic processing companies have been hit by soaring raw material prices and weak demand, the All India Plastic Manufacturers Association (AIPM India Plastics Association) is seeking to immediately ban or restrict the export of raw materials

On November 26, AIPM made an urgent request to help save the plastics processing industry in India

AIPM said that India’s plastics industry consists of approximately 50,000 plastic processing units, 90% of which are micro, small and medium enterprises

Indian polyolefin producers have been raising the price of polyolefin products because of the surge in polyethylene (PE) prices in most parts of Asia, especially in China

As the third-largest economy in Asia, India showed signs of recovery in the second quarter of the current fiscal year from July to September 2020.
