India SRF builds new BOPP plant in Thailand

Recently, SRF India has built a 45,000-ton/year biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) plant in Thailand

SRF said that Thailand’s BOPP film market is very strong and is still a net importer of BOPP

In Thailand, SRF has two biaxially oriented polyethylene terephthalate (BOPET) production lines, one with 30,000 tons/year and the other with 40,000 tons/year
.

In India, SRF has 87,500 tons/year polyethylene terephthalate (PET), 93,000 tons/year BOPET and 34,000 tons/year BOPP production capacity

It is reported that the company also plans to increase its BOPP production capacity in India and build a new production line of 60,000 tons/year in Indore, Madhya Pradesh
