World Agrochemical Network Chinese website reported: India's Best Agrolife Limited (BAL) recently issued two announcements, saying that India 's Central Pesticide Committee and Registration Committee approved the company's patented ternary insecticide local production registration, the company will be launched under the Ronfen brand
    .
In August last year, BAL was granted a Ronfen patent for a unique suspension containing pyriproxyfen 8%, diafenthiuron 18% and dinotefuran 5%
    .

With this patented product, BAL will be the first Indian agrochemical company in India to produce this first-of-its-kind, ternary compound insecticide that is effective in controlling piercing and sucking pests at all developmental stages
    .

In this registration meeting, in addition to Ronfen, BAL also obtained registration for local production of other products, including dinotefuran 15% + pymetrozine 45% WG and Pyrithiobac-sodium technical drug
    .
BAL will launch a combination of dinotefuran and pymetrozine under the AxeMan brand
    .

Suck-sucking pests such as aphids, scale insects, mealybugs, thrips, whiteflies, leafhoppers, etc.
have always been a major concern for cotton, pepper and vegetable growers worldwide
    .
These pests reduce crop productivity and cause losses in crop quantity and quality
    .

In fact, in 2015, the whitefly in the Malwa district of Punjab devastated crops, affecting two-thirds of the cotton acreage (332,000 hectares), with an estimated loss of Rs 4,200 crore
    .
On the other hand, pepper thrips and mites, if not dealt with in a timely manner, can spread to successive generations in the pepper crop
    .
Adults and nymphs of these pests feed on leaf juice and root juice
    .
Thrip infestation causes the leaves to become smaller, thicker, and brittle
    .
In addition, most viruses that infect plants are also spread by pests such as sucking aphids, because the secretions of thrips and many sucking pests encourage fungal growth
    .

BAL company Vimal Alawadhi said that until now, protecting crops from sucking pests has been very expensive for farmers in India and around the world.
To this end, the BAL R&D team has developed solutions to control sucking pests, Namely the innovative Ronfen
    .
In the past two years, Ronfen has carried out large-scale field trials, and Ronfen has strong control effect against all piercing and sucking pests
    .

AxeMan has a dual action, helping to protect rice crops from the brown planthopper, which has developed high resistance to a very wide range of agrochemicals
    .
AxeMan provides long-term control of brown planthopper in paddy fields and aids in resistance management
    .

BAL has more than 70 products, more than 80 technical production licenses, more than 360 preparation production licenses, a production capacity of 30,000 tons of preparations, and a production capacity of 7,000 tons of new technical drugs
    .
Seedlings India Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of BAL, a leading manufacturer of agricultural inputs, is also in production
    .

BAL was ranked 15th in the "Top 20 Agrochemical Companies in India" published by AgroPages with sales of Rs 1,405 crore
    .
