Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has announced that it will reschedule pre-bid meetings to select solar developers
for its 2GW Interstate Transmission System (ISTS) connected solar projects.
SECI said that the pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for May 20, 2020, the meeting will be conducted by video conference, and the invitation to the meeting will be sent
on May 19, 2020.
India's Central Public Sector Organisation (CPSU) recently extended the tender deadline for solar tenders to May 28, 2020 from the previous 5 May 2020
.
Interstate Networking solar and wind projects were tendered
under Lot IX of the ISTS program.
SECI has published Selection Requirements (RfS)
for two projects in March 2020.
According to the tender documents, the minimum allowable project size is 50 MW, and one bidder can allocate up to 2 GW, allowing applicants to submit a single bid
in multiples of 10 MW for quantities between 50 MW and 2 GW.
SECI has published Selection Requirements (RfS)
for solar projects in March 2020.
It also issued a 2 GW wind tender
around the same time.
The deadline for solar wind tenders has also been revised from May 6, 2020 to May 26
, 2020.
SECI has so far tendered 16.
