The Asian Development Bank (ADB) recently agreed to provide a $600 million loan to Indonesia's National Power Company (PLN) to finance the expansion
of renewable energy in the country.
PLN will also receive $3 million from the Japan Poverty Reduction Fund and $3 million
from the Asia Clean Energy Fund.
The utility will use the funds to finance the second phase of renewable energy development, part of which will expand the grid and improve service reliability
