The total number of shares repurchased under the plan is 31,226,894 ordinary shares.
Starting on December 23, Akzo Nobel began to repurchase common stocks valued at no more than 500 million euros, and executed the share repurchase announced on October 23, 2019.
The repurchase plan will be completed in the first half of 2020.
The company has engaged a third party to manage the procedures and execute transactions on its behalf.
Plan to cancel the stock after the repurchase.
The share repurchase will be implemented within the scope authorized by the annual general meeting on April 25, 2019.
The stock repurchase plan will be carried out within the parameters specified in the "Market Abuse Regulations" 596/2014 and the "European Commission Authorization Regulations" 2016/1052.
According to regulations, Akzo Nobel will update the stock repurchase overview weekly to inform the market of the progress of the plan.
