The 500-ton melt blown cloth production line of Sinopec Yizheng Chemical Fiber Plant with a localization rate of more than 95% has been successfully put into operation at one time and produced high-quality products.The project compresses the regular one-year construction period into more than one month, which is 18 days ahead of the completion time issued by Sinopec’s headquarters, surpassing the acceleration of manufacturing in China.

As the heart of masks, meltblown cloth has continued to soar in price, out of the sky-high market.Faced with such a situation, Sinopec has made a decision to quickly build 16 melt blown cloth production lines to ease market supply and ensure normal production in the mask market.
Among the 16 production lines, Yanshan Petrochemical will build 4 and Yizheng Chemical Fiber will start 12 production lines.
Among them, the first phase of Yanshan Petrochemical's two melt blown cloth production lines were put into operation on March 8, and the first phase of Yizheng Chemical Fiber's melt blown cloth production line was successfully put into operation on March 29.
According to Sinopec news, all 16 production lines are expected to be put into operation in May.
Together with the production capacity of the holding company, an annual production capacity of 10,000 tons of meltblown cloth will be formed, which can be used to process more than 10 billion disposable medical masks each year.
By then, Sinopec is expected to become the largest melt blown cloth manufacturer in China and even the world.
According to statistics, the price of meltblown cloth was 45,000 yuan/ton on January 28, and then gradually increased from 60,000, 90,000 yuan, and 150,000 yuan per ton to the highest price of 560,000 yuan/ton .However, with the gradual release of Sinopec and PetroChina's production capacity, domestic meltblown cloth production will increase rapidly.
At present, the price of meltblown cloth has gradually fallen to about 150,000 yuan/ton, which has dropped by 400,000 yuan/ton from the highest point.

Industry insiders said that although the price of melt blown cloth has fallen, the market as a whole is still in a state of undersupply.

However, the increase in supply in the later market will inevitably lead to price changes, and it is inevitable that the price of melt blown cloth will fall.
