    3.

    (1) The beakers, glass rods, and pycnometers used must be clean and dry (the thermometer attached to the pycnometer cannot be heated and dried).

    (2) The amount of test sample taken and the amount of water added should be determined according to the size of the selected pycnometer to ensure that the volume of the test sample solution is sufficient for relative density determination

    (3) Add about 2 times the amount of water to the test product and stir it thoroughly with a glass rod to make the measurement result accurate

    (4) The pycnometer containing the test product must be rinsed.

    (5) When bottling the test product and water, you should carefully pour it into the pycnometer along the wall to avoid bubbles.

    (6) When taking the pycnometer out of the water bath, use your fingers to hold the bottleneck, not the belly of the bottle, so as to prevent the liquid from swelling and overflowing due to the influence of hand temperature

    (7) The temperature should be adjusted during operation, and the stopper should be tightly closed.

    4.

    5.

    (1) Record the balance model, pycnometer type and measured temperature

    (2) Record the weighing data of the test product and the test product added with water

    (3) Record the weighing data of empty pycnometer, pycnometer plus test solution, and pycnometer plus water

    (4) Calculate the relative density of the test product

    In the formula, W1 is the weight of the test solution in the pycnometer (g); W2 is the weight of the water in the pycnometer (g);

    (2) Insoluble matter inspection method

    1.

    (1) This method is applicable to the inspection of insoluble foreign bodies such as scorch chips in decoctions
    .
The purpose of this inspection is to control the insoluble foreign matter such as scorch chips brought in during the preparation process
    .

    (2) The decoction with fine powder of decoction pieces should be checked before adding the powder, and the powder can be added only after it meets the requirements
    .
After adding the powder, the particle size should be checked
    .

    2.
Operation method Take 5g of the test product, put it in a 250ml beaker, add 200ml of hot water (70~80℃), stir with a glass rod to melt, and observe the result after standing for 3 minutes
    .

    3.
Precautions Foreign matter does not include micro-fine fibers and particles
    .

    4.
    Results and Judgment

    (1) If the test product is completely melted or has traces of fine fibers or particles, it is judged to meet the requirements
    .

    (2) If there is insoluble foreign matter such as scorch at the bottom of the beaker, it is judged not to meet the requirements
    .

    5.
Record the balance model, the weighing data of the test product, the amount of heating water and the result of observation
    .

    (3) Filling inspection method

    1.
Briefly describe that this law is applicable to the inspection of the volume of decoctions
    .
The purpose of this inspection is to control the minimum amount of decoction
    .

    2.
The operation method is in accordance with the minimum loading inspection method (general rule 0942 weight method)
    .

    3.
    Matters needing attention

    (1) In the two weighings of each test product, attention should be paid to the sequence of numbers and the matching of empty containers
    .

    (2) Do not directly touch the test product with your fingers during the weighing process
    .

    4.
    Results and Judgment

    (1) The filling and average filling of the contents of each container, in accordance with the minimum filling inspection method (gravity method), the filling of each container is not less than the minimum allowed filling; and the average filling is not less than In the marked quantity, it is judged to meet the requirements
    .

    (2) If one container does not meet the requirements, take another 5 (3 for 50g or more) for retest
    .
All the results of the retest meet the requirements, but they can still be judged as in compliance
    .

    (3) The average filling quantity and the filling quantity of each container (calculate the percentage according to the marked filling quantity), and take three significant figures to judge the result
    .

    5.
    Records and calculations

    (1) Record the model of the analytical balance
    .

    (2) Record the weighing data of the contents of each container, the weight of each test product and the weight of its own empty container
    .

    (3) Divide the total volume of each container by 5 (or 3) to get the average volume
    .

    (4) Calculate the volume and average volume of the contents of each container, and calculate the minimum allowable volume
    .

    (4) Microbial limit inspection

Unless otherwise specified, decoctions shall be inspected according to the microbial limit of non-sterile products: the microbial counting method (General Rule 1105) and the control bacteria inspection (General Rule 1106) and the microbiological limit standard of non-sterile drugs (General Rule 1107) shall meet the requirements
    .
