    Ankylosing spondylitis (AS) is a well-known chronic inflammatory rheumatism that causes progressive damage to the spinal structure and restricted movement.


    From June 2011 to March 2018, researchers conducted a retrospective analysis of 48 consecutive AL cases, including 13 conservative treatments and 35 surgical treatments.

    In summary, the results of the study show that surgery is still the best treatment for AL patients with ankylosing spondylitis, and the medium and long-term follow-up data prove its better clinical efficacy.
