It is expected to solve the problem that my country's solution-polymerized styrene-butadiene rubber is heavily dependent on importsSinochem News on July 23, the "Key Technology for the Synthesis and Application of Butadiene Rubber Catalyzed by Iron" was jointly completed by the Qingdao Institute of Bioenergy and Process (Shandong Energy Research Institute) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Sinopec Baling Petrochemical Co.
The appraisal committee composed of 9 experts including Tang Yong, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and director of the Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, believes that the overall technology of the project has reached the international advanced level, and the industrialization of the key technology for the synthesis and application of iron-based catalyzed butadiene rubber should be accelerated.
According to reports, Qingdao Energy Research Institute (Shandong Energy Research Institute) designed and synthesized a new type of iron-based catalyst to create a new iron-based catalyst for the problem of China's heavy dependence on imports of synthetic rubber and the urgent need for high-value conversion and utilization of C4~C5 olefins downstream of petrochemicals.
In addition, Qingdao Energy Research Institute (Shandong Energy Research Institute) cooperated with Shandong Linglong Tire Co.
