There are two kinds of water-based color slurry systems: one is a resin-free system with high pigment content and the other is a resin-free system with low pigment content (general resin, other single resin). Among them, the former pigment concentration is high, coloring force is strong, color display performance is good, compatible is good, has the contact fluidity, generally does not cause floating color and flowering, the choice of additives is reasonable, with universality . 1, the quality of the color paste (mainly look at its international pigment number)

4, color paste light resistance, weather resistance
color paste weather resistance test through outdoor exposure (such as Florida, China's Turpan and other places have exposure), but the actual outdoor exposure time is too long, now the general color pulp performance testing is mostly through equipment and other simulation tests. Light resistance test: exposure under xenon lamp, measured by blue wool ruler, in 1-8 levels, 8 is the best, 1 is the worst.
weather resistance test: with ATLAS aging instrument, timed with xenon lamp exposure and water spraying, exposure for 500 hours, color difference according to ISO gray ruler 1-5 to express, 5 is the best, 1 level is the worst. The color paste used in the outer wall needs to be light-resistant 7 or more, weather-resistant 4 or more conditions to be achieved at the same time.
5, pigment content of color
pigment content only for reference, can not be used as an indicator to assess the performance of color paste. The coloring force of the slurry is not simply directly related to the pigment content. The same pigment content, its fine coloring force is also very different. In order to ensure the stability of color paste coloring force, the pigment content is a change value within a certain range, and the value provided on the color slurry data is a typical reference value.
6, the fineness of the color paste is an intuitive index to reflect the coloration force dispersion effect and storage stability of the color paste. Generally for the same pigment color paste, the smaller the particle size, than the surface area increased, so the cover capacity will be increased, the higher the coloring force; Of course, the finer the slurry is not the finer the better, because when the particles become smaller, its surface area increases, the absorption of light energy increases, the degree of damage is also increased, resulting in reduced weather resistance;
7, color paste and paint compatible
