1 Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation, storage and safety of isobutyl acetate for industrial use

This standard applies to industrial isobutyl acetate prepared by the esterification of acetic acid and isobutyl ester in the presence of a catalyst .
