On September 22, 2022, the Jerusalem Post reported that on Thursday, Finance Minister Avigdor Liberman signed an order to remove import tariffs
on vegetable oils, sauces, dried fruits, pastries, jams and snacks.
Similar to past tariff cuts, removing tariffs on imported food is expected to lower prices for consumers and increase consumption
