China Crude Oil Field will develop equipment for high-sulfur gas fields

The drilling pipe engineering department under the jurisdiction of China Petroleum Field has recently undertaken the development of key equipment and materials for the development of high-sulfur gas fields, a major national science and technology sub-project, and will develop a 6-inch anti-sulfur drill pipe
with independent intellectual property rights.

This special project is a sub-project of the national major special project for the safe and efficient development technology of high sulfur gas reservoir (phase II), which will overcome the technical problems of key equipment and material development for the development of high sulfur natural gas through independent research and development and the introduction of digestion and absorption, and form a perfect series of high sulfur gas field development technology together with other subject research results to ensure the stable production of Puguang gas field and the safety and stability
of production and operation during the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period.
