ArrMaz to acquire ArrMaz recently announced its intention to acquire ArrMaz
, a U.
S.
specialty surfactant company, subject to approval by the relevant antitrust authorities, and is expected to close
in the summer of 2019.
The purchase price is USD 570 million, representing a relative EV/EBITDA multiple of 10.

The transaction will combine Arkema and Amaidzai's differentiated formulations, technologies and geographic expertise in specialty surfactants to complement
each other.
The acquisition will also strengthen Arkema's Performance Additives business, which, together with adhesives and technical polymers, forms the three pillars of growth in
Arkema's Performance Materials segment.
