    , Ineos Oxides recently announced that it is advancing the construction of a new ethylene oxide (EO) and ethylene oxide derivative (EOD) production facility on the
    U.
    S.
    Gulf Coast.
    The company plans to build a new EO plant with an annual capacity of approximately 270,000 tons, as well as a production facility
    for ethoxychemical derivatives.
    The project is scheduled to be completed and put into operation
    in 2022.
    Currently, INEOS is selecting several locations along the U.
    S.
    Gulf Coast as sites for the project and is actively promoting the evaluation of EO technology
