INEOS to build acrylonitrile and other plants in Saudi Arabia On June 3, INEOS announced that it signed an agreement with Saudi Aramco and France's Total to build three new chemical plants

in Saudi Arabia for the first time.

Saudi Aramco and Total are preparing to build a $5 billion major petrochemical project (the Amiral Project) that will provide more than $4 billion in downstream derivatives and specialty chemical plants

INEOS' three installations are part of
it.
The plant will build a new 425,000-ton acrylonitrile plant using INEOS' own world-leading technology and catalysts, and a 400,000-tonne α linear olefin (LAO) plant and its accompanying world-class poly α olefin (PAO) plant
