Johnson Controls innovates waste heat recovery technology for green heating

At the 4th China International Distributed Energy and Energy Storage Technology and Equipment Exhibition held in Beijing, Johnson Controls, the world's leading one-stop building solutions provider, showcased York TITANTM multistage centrifugal heat pumps, YDST single-stage centrifugal heat pumps and waste heat recovery district heating solutions
。 By recycling low-grade heat generated in the industrial production process, the production of high-temperature hot water for municipal central heating or process heating can reduce coal consumption by up to 50%, help green heating, and can be widely used in thermal power plants, enterprise-owned power plants, municipal sewage plants, industrial and mining enterprises and petrochemical industries, providing new solutions
for energy conservation and emission reduction, improving economic benefits and controlling smog.

Johnson Controls has pioneered a comprehensive range of industrial waste heat recovery solutions, providing a full range of heat pump systems ranging from 400 kW to 100 MW and hot water effluent temperatures ranging from 50°C to 110 °C, including motor-driven and steam-driven mechanical heat pumps and absorption heat pumps, to meet the needs
of various industrial waste heat recovery and cooling/heating applications.

As the main products of Johnson Automation's controlled waste heat recovery solution, York TITANTM multistage centrifugal compressors and YDST singlestage centrifugal heat pumps are steam-driven
。 Among them, York TITANT multistage centrifugal compressors have been available for decades, their reliability has been verified by thousands of users around the world, and then improved by technology, so that it is more suitable for large-scale district heating; Johnson Controls' newly developed York YDST single-stage centrifugal heat pump can be used for large-scale urban district heating by recycling low-grade heat from the cooling water of the condenser of the power plant, while increasing the heating capacity of the thermal power plant and reducing the energy consumption of the thermal power plant, while solving the heating problem, and achieving environmental and economic benefits
of energy conservation and emission reduction.
