Tosoh Corporation (TOSOH) said that it will invest 10 billion yen to increase the bromine production capacity
of the Nanyang plant in Yamaguchi Prefecture in response to the expanding market demand.
The capacity expansion project is expected to be completed and put into commercial operation in January 2023, when bromine production capacity will be increased by about 30%
compared to today.
As a result, Tocao will implement this capacity expansion plan to upgrade its aging bromide production facilities and increase production capacity
