A series modular plant of low submersible sulfur series suitable for the test production of single well and associated gas of sulfur containing natural gas has been successfully promoted and put into production by Sinopec

At the Sinopec Science and Technology Progress Work Conference held recently, the research and application project of modular low-potential sulfur natural gas desulfurization plant won the second prize of Sinopec Science and Technology Progress Award

At present, the longest of these low-potential sulfur series modular complete sets of plants has been in continuous and stable operation for more than 2 years, and the removal rate of hydrogen sulfide ≥ 99.

The cost of desulfurization per cubic meter of desulfurization of this device is only 2 cents, which completely solves the technical problems

In the process of Sinopec energy development, more oil and gas wells containing hydrogen sulfide have been explored, which have the characteristics of
scattered distribution, dense surrounding population and low sulfur potential.
Conventional desulfurization technology and equipment have large investment, high cost, difficult installation and transportation, and cannot meet the needs well in terms of safety and environmental protection, which seriously restricts the efficient development and utilization of sulfur-containing oil and
gas resources.
