LG Chem intends to invest in a new petrochemical facility LG Chem of South Korea recently announced that it will invest approximately USD 1.
8 billion to build a new facility
including a naphtha cracking center (NCC) at its Yeosu site in South Jeollanam-do to expand some product production capacity
.
The new facilities include production lines
for NCC, polypropylene, polyethylene and other high value-added products.
When put into operation, LG Chem's ethylene production capacity will reach 2.
2 million tons
